Stoeger P3000 Supreme Freedom Series, Stoeger P3000 Supreme Folding Shotgun

Folding firearms are nothing new, but have certainly grown in popularity in recent years. Pistols like the CZ Scorpion Micro Folder and pistol-caliber carbines like the KelTec Sub2000 CQB give shooters plenty of compact options for defense. Shotguns are also no stranger to folding options, like the Mossberg Maverick 88 Security, which folds over the top. Then there’s the new Stoeger P3000 Supreme Freedom Series 12-gauge shotgun, which folds to the side.

Stoeger P3000 Supreme Details

Stoeger’s “Freedom Series” is its line of 12-gauge semi-autos and pump-action shotguns with extended magazine tubes. It offers extended magazines for increased capacity while remaining 922R compliant. The latest addition to that series is the P3000 Supreme, which benefits from a 7+1 capacity.

The all-new P3000 Freedom Series Supreme features a six-position, telescoping rear stock with adjustable cheek rest for a custom fit. More importantly, the stock also folds for compact storage and transportation. Stoeger didn’t provide the exact measurements, but with an overall length of 40.5 inches, it looks like the shotgun folds down to approximately 27 inches.

The P3000 Supreme also features a rubberized pistol grip that combines with a checkered pump forend for a rock-solid grip. Stoeger says that grip holds especially well when shooting 3-inch magnum loads. Meanwhile, a ghost-ring front sight provides quick target acquisition while the integrated sling attachment point offers a convenient carry option. The P3000 Freedom Series Supreme also uses the same, proven pump-action of the original Stoeger P3000.

Lastly is MSRP, which comes in at just $469; all things considered, that’s a pretty nice price point. We’ll look to get one for testing in the near future. For more information, please visit
