Benghazi hero and “13 Hours” co-author John Tiegen, also known as “Tig,” recently partnered with the Kahr Firearms Group for three special edition guns.
The kicker, aside the guns being absolutely awesome, is that part of the proceeds from the sale of each firearm will be donated to Tig’s “Beyond the Battlefield” organization.
“Beyond the Battlefield is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that John ‘Tig’ Tiegen and his wife, Margaret, founded in 2017,” according to Kahr. “Its mission is to provide support for wounded veterans as they face the many challenges encountered during rehabilitation, the healing process and reintegration into everyday life.”
The three guns are a TIG Model Tommy Gun from Auto-Ordnance, a TIG Series ST9 pistol from Kahr Arms, and a TIG Series Desert Eagle from Magnum Research.
Auto-Ordnance TIG Model Tommy Gun
The Auto-Ordnance TIG series Thompson is the classic 1927-A1 Deluxe Carbine .45 ACP. It ships with a 20-round stick magazine and only 1,000 models are available.
Engravings on each Tommy Gun include its number in the series, the TIG logo, TIG’s signature and the Beyond the Battlefield logo.
MSRP for the TIG series Thompson is $1,544.
John Tiegen’s TIG Series Kahr ST9 Pistol
Second in the available group of guns is the TIG series Kahr ST9 pistol.
The 9mm sub-compact pistol features a 4-inch barrel. The pistol stands out with Kahr’s Kryptek Typhon print on the polymer frame and accessory rail. Other features include a blackened stainless steel slide, front slide serrations, and white three-dot sights. It ships with two eight-round magazines.
Like the Tommy Gun, the ST9 pistol is limited to 1,000. Engravings on each pistol include its number in the series, the TIG logo, TIG’s signature and the Beyond the Battlefield logo.
The TIG Series ST9 has an MSRP of $541.
Magnum Research TIG Series Desert Eagle Pistol
Last in the series is Magnum Research’s “big boy” — the TIG Series Desert Eagle .50 AE. Featuring a custom Battle Worn Bronze Cerakote finish, each pistol is hand finished, giving each one a unique look.
Unlike the TIG model Tommy Gun and ST9 pistol, only 250 Desert Eagles are available. Engravings on each pistol include its number in the series, the TIG logo, TIG’s signature and the Beyond the Battlefield logo.
MSRP on the TIG Series Desert Eagle is $1,963.
