Daniel Defense is a three-time Athlon Outdoors Rendezvous attendee. Seeing as we’ve only hosted the event for three years, that means Daniel Defense hasn’t missed one. You truly love to see it. DD also has a history of bringing some pretty cool product to the event. For 2019, we got a sneak peek at prototype of the just-announced Daniel Defense DDM4 PDW.
Daniel Defense DDM4 PDW Details
So, 2019 was the year of the Daniel Defense Delta 5 bolt-action rifle. We have a feeling 2020 will be the year of the DDM4 PDW.
Firstly, the DDM4 PDW Pistol is a very compact package. It features a 7-inch barrel and an overall length of 20.75 inches — a true pack gun. Daniel Defense also equipped the pistol with a Maxim Defense CQB Pistol Brace for comfort. Beyond that, the DDM4 PDW features a 6-inch MFR XL flat front rail, along with M-LOK attachment points and an SLR M-LOK MOD2 Handstop. The pistol is also suppressor-ready; the DD Wave comes to mind.
But wait, there’s more. On top of the pistol version, Daniel Defense is also offering an SBR variant with Maxim Defense CQB Gen 7 stock. So you have the option, should you so choose. Lastly is MSRP, which comes in at $1,930 for either model.
Watch the video above for a look at the prototype we shot at the Athlon Outdoors Rendezvous. For even more information, please visit DanielDefense.com.
