The Whiskey Wedge allows you to keep your favorite whiskey chilled without watering it down. Each set comes with a double old-fashioned whiskey glass and a unique silicone mold. Simply add water into the double old-fashioned glass, insert the mold, then freeze. The ice forms into a wedge and, similar to a glacier, melts slowly due to the reduced amount of surface area. The result is a cool glass of whiskey that will not be watered down.
The Glencairn Whisky Glass is a revolutionary snifter that really lets one savor the taste and complexity of fine whisky. With the tapered mouth, you are able to really smell all the nuances the whiskey has to offer. Developed by Glencairn Crystal, the design was perfected by input from the five largest whiskey companies.
One of the more unique designs is the Norlan. It was inspired by nature, digitally crafted and meticulously refined with input from master distiller Jim McEwan. The Norlan whiskey glass has been designed to capture whiskey’s complex flavors and aromatics and deliver them to the senses like never before. A black edition of the Norlan that looks really cool is also available for just $10 more.

Experts with the world’s most discerning palates helped develop Riedel’s Vinum series, a glassware collection designed to flatter whiskey. These glasses feature short stems and elongated, thistle-shaped bodies in order to enhance the characteristics of the whiskey for every drinker’s enjoyment. This particular design was refined after experts narrowed down the best from 19 different glass styles in Austria, where Riedel is based.
Last on our list is one of the best-looking glasses on our short list. The Rikke Hagen glasses are a great blend of form and function. The wide bottom of each glass grants stability and places it perfectly in the palm of your hand. The bottom curve creates natural movement for the contents, increasing flavor and aroma. The glass closes in at the rim, intensifying and drawing the aroma to your nose.

Don’t overlook bourbon glasses.

Drinking bourbon is something one should do as an experience to be savored. The company of good friends, good music and a great setting will only enhance the moment. But one thing to consider is just what you will be drinking this fine beverage from.

Range of Bourbon Glasses

Some of you may be new to this, so I’d like to offer a few suggestions on bourbon glasses to consider.

As you may have guessed, the whiskey glass market is full of unique offerings from mild to wild. They also range from affordable to those that would defund your child’s college savings.

With that in mind, let’s look at a few of the best. Scroll through the gallery above for some of my favorites.
