Contest – Official Rules
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.
Method and Rules of Entry: To be eligible to win one of the prizes, a Qualified Entrant (as defined below) must post a photo of your beard on Instagram, use the hashtag #BallisticBeards and tag @AthlonOutdoors for a chance to win some gear and be featured on BallisticMag.com. We’ll announce the winners on or around April 1, 2019. No method of entry other than as described in this section will be accepted. All photos & comments and other entry information becomes the property of the Sponsor. No purchase, offer or sale transaction is necessary to enter. A purchase or other transaction on the Sponsor’s website or elsewhere will not increase the chances of winning.
Drawing(s): Winner(s) will be selected by the Athlon Outdoors editors from among all eligible cumulative entries received during the contest. The winning entrant(s) will have 3 days to respond to the direct Instagram message from the Athlon Outdoors Instagram page with the entrant’s qualifying shipment address and other necessary information or documentation reasonably requested by us to prove eligibility. If we do not hear from the winner within the 3-day time period, receive incomplete evidence of eligibility or determine that the winning entrant is not a Qualified Entrant, the winning entrant agrees to forfeit the prize and another random drawing of entrants from the same time period will determine the substitute winner.

Eligibility: The Contest is open only to legal residents of the United States who are at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry. Not open to employees of Ballistic Magazine, Athlon Outdoors, Inc., Self-Wrought, Alpha Beard Company, their subsidiaries, respective affiliates, advertising, promotion, and public relations agencies, and their immediate families as well as individuals living in the same households of such employees. Entrants agree to the release of their name, address, and email information to Publisher and/or Sponsor for winner notification purposes and for public winner disclosure, as required by law. By entering the Contest, participants agree to be bound by the Athlon Outdoors privacy policy. Contest is void where prohibited, and is subject to all applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations. Any use of robotic, repetitive, automatic, programmed or similar entry methods or agents will void all entries made by, or associated with, the applicable entrant.
Limitation of Liability: Sponsor, Publisher, and their promotion partners are not responsible for printing or typographical errors in any Contest-related materials; or for any individual’s inability to enter the Contest, including but not limited to unavailable network, server, or other connections; failed software or hardware transmissions; other errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical, or electronic; or for any damage to any computer related to or resulting from participation. Multiple entries beyond what’s stated in section 1 above and those generated by script, macro, or other automated entry devices are not valid, and will be disqualified. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the Contest should any of the foregoing occurrences corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness, or proper play of the Contest, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. If the Contest is cancelled for any reason, including but not limited to those listed above, winners will be determined via random drawing from all eligible entries received up to the time of Contests cancellation. By submitting an entry, entrants agree to these Official Rules and to all decisions of Sponsor, or its designated agent, which are final and legally binding in all respects, and further agree that all prizes are awarded upon the condition that Sponsor and its affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, principals, employees or agents shall have no liability whatsoever and shall be held harmless for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind to persons or property, including death, sustained, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, in connection with or resulting from acceptance, possession or use/misuse of any prize, or participation in this Contests or participation in any Contests-related activities, and further acknowledge that said parties have neither made, nor are in any manner responsible or liable for, any warranty, representation or guarantee, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize, including but not limited to its merchantability, quality, mechanical condition or fitness for a particular purpose. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, without prior notice and at any time, to cancel, terminate or suspend this Contests, or any portion thereof, should virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes beyond the control of Sponsor corrupt or impair the administration, integrity or security of the Contest (including but not limited to attempts to hack into or otherwise tamper with underlying source code/programming of the Contest). No portion of the Prize may be listed or offered for sale on eBay, Craigslist, or similar websites. By accepting prizes, winner agrees that Sponsor may use each winner’s name, likeness, photograph and/or biographical information, without limitation, for promotional purposes without further consideration or payment, where permitted by law. Taxes on and in connection with all prizes are the sole responsibility of each winner. Prizes are not transferable. No prize, cash or other substitutions allowed except at Sponsor’s sole discretion or as otherwise provided herein. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if an advertised prize becomes unavailable. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. Should any provision of these Official Rules be deemed unenforceable or invalid, the other provisions of these Official Rules shall remain in full force and effect. In the event that this Contest is challenged by any legal or regulatory authority (including but not limited to any federal or state governmental authority), Sponsor reserves the right to discontinue or modify the Contest, as applicable, or to disqualify any entrants residing in any affected geographic areas, as applicable. In such event, Sponsor shall have no liability to any entrants who are disqualified due to such an action.
Dispute Resolution: THIS CONTEST IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF THE UNITED STATES AND THE STATE OF TENNESSEE, WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES. As a condition of participating in this Contest, participant agrees that any and all disputes which cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Nashville, Tennessee having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances will a participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, other than participant’s actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e. costs associated with entering this Contest), and participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
